Hello friends.
If you are using PLSQL developer to connect to the ORACLE database may have faced the problem 'SQL*Net not properly installed
- PL/SQL Developer will automatically find the Oracle Home directory and the corresponding oci.dll and tnsnames.ora file based on the Oracle Registry. Note that the 32 bit PL/SQL Developer version will only find 32 bit Oracle Client installations in the registry, and the 64 bit PL/SQL Developer version will only find 32 bit Oracle Client.
- Jan 06, 2014 Ensure that the path to your Oracle client is listed here (the actual folder that contains the dlls above, e.g. C: oracle instantclient121). If SQL developer is open when you do this, close it and reopen 2. In SQL Developer, go to Preferences Database Advanced and select Configure under the client section.
PL/SQL Developer is a 32 Bit application, so it cannot interface with a 64 Bit Oracle Client. The 32 Bit Oracle Client can communicate with a 64 Bit Server, even on the same machine if necessary. Hp emulex drivers for mac. The 32 Bit client can coexist with a 64 Bit Oracle installation when installed in separate Oracle Home directories.
This problem occur beacause ORACLE_HOME and the oci.dll path location may not have been configured in the preferences.Pl Sql Developer Oracle Client Not Properly Installed Oracle Home Key Chain
